A nurse anesthetist with more than 25 years experience works in conjunction with one of our sedation dentists - Dr. O'Leary or Dr. Peppler - to administer medication through an IV (attached to your arm). Your pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels are monitored throughout the entire procedure, to ensure your safety. You're also hooked to a heart monitor.
Please note that if you choose this type of sedation dentistry, you'll need someone to pick you up after your dental appointment and stay with you at home for two to four hours.
